A review to soft claw cover

Uncontrolled scratching is one of the top reasons why cats have been surrendered to cats’ shelters. Declawing cats is inhumane for other people. There is now an alternative solution for declawing and abandonment of your cat which is less aggressive. The soft claw cover became a popular alternative for declawing the cats. This product was invented by a veterinarian doctor named Toby Wexler on 1990.

Soft claw cover placed in a plastic container that has 40 soft caps (enough for a number of applications), two adhesive in tubes, and a manual for application. If you usually trimmed the nails of your cat, then applying soft cover would be so easy.

Follow these steps for applying the soft cover.

Trim your cat’s nail.

Fill one-third of cats nail with adhesive

Put the nail caps by sliding it onto your cats nail one for each nail.

Wait for a few minutes for the adhesive to dry and you can let go of your cat.

If you feel confident to do the process then you can do the second and third steps by yourself.  But if you and your cat feel a little nervous then ask for a service of a veterinarian or retailer to handle the cats cover application. This might cost you an additional payment or it might be free of charge if you do the purchased from them.

Soft Claws comes in different sizes the kitten size for 6 months old, small size for 6-8 lbs., medium size for 9-13 lbs., and large size for more than 14 lbs. It also comes in different colors which are available in pet shops, from veterinarian and also online.
